Gem. § 1 Verordnung des Bundesministers für Soziales, Gesundheit, Pflege und Konsumentenschutz betreffend die Bekanntgabe von Flugpassagieren wurde per 29.02.2020 16:50 Uhr vom BMSGPK angeordnet, auf Direktflügen aus

  • Volksrepublik China
  • Iran
  • Italien – Lombardei (Mailand)
  • Südkorea

ab sofort Fluggastdaten zu erheben und diese an die Gesundheitsbehörde zu übermitteln.

Auf allen anderen Flügen sind durch die Airlines Personen zu identifizieren, die sich in den letzten 14 Tagen in der Volksrepublik China, Iran, Italien – Lombardei (Mailand) oder Südkorea aufgehalten haben, und von diesen ebenfalls Fluggastdaten zu erhaben und bei der Airline für eine allfällige Anfrage der Gesundheitsbehörde vorzuhalten.

Mit 3. März 2020 werden Gesundheitskontrollen mit sogenannten Entry Screenings (Fieberchecks) auf Direktflügen aus dem Iran und aus Südkorea am Vienna International Airport ausgeweitet.

Orders of Austrian Federal Ministry of Health

1. ACFT operators are required on request by Ministry of Health to report those passengers immediately to the responsible local district administration of the airport who arrived at one of the Austrian airports and who were staying within the last 14 days before beginning of the travel in one of the following affected countries listed on the homepage of Federal Ministry of International and European Affairs, for which a travel warning regarding SARS-CoV-2 (‚2019 neuartiges coronavirus‘) is reported: People’s Republic of China, Islamic Republic of Iran, Italian Republic Region Lombardy and Republic of Korea. For this report please use public health passenger locator card.

2. Is the infection SARS-CoV-2 confirmed at any passenger arriving from a country listed under 1 the ACFT operator is required to send the whole passengerlist to the responsible local district administration of the airport.

From 03.03.2020 on entry screenings will be implemented on direct flights from Islamic Republic Iran and Republic Korea to Vienna International Airport (VIE).

Procedure to be followed:

  • filing of passenger locator forms during the flight (enclosed) as announced in NOTAM A0511/20
  • handover of passenger manifest, general declaration and passenger locator forms to Public Health Authority (PHA) after positioning
  • temperature control by PHA
